Due to the nature and sensitivity of services offered by Symbian, customer data (whether PII or otherwise), including customer company names, will not be utilised for the purposes of marketing or advertising without the prior consent of the customer.

AI Services and Your Data

When providing AI consulting services, Symbian adheres to the following principles:

  • Client Data Ownership: All data remains your property at all times. We do not claim ownership of any client data processed during our services.
  • Environment Control: AI systems are typically built within your own environment (such as AWS/Azure) and remain under your control.
  • Data Minimisation: We only process data that is necessary for providing the specific services you've requested.
  • No Secondary Use: We do not process, store, or retain your data beyond the original purpose specified in our service agreement.
  • Data Segregation: Your data is not combined with other clients' data for any purpose.

Retention of Your Personal Data

Symbian will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to:

  • Comply with our legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes
  • Enforce our legal agreements and policies

Should Symbian be required to take a copy of any data from the data controller for the purposes of defect correction or analysis, we have a standard policy of retaining data only as long as necessary to resolve the issue. The copied data is then securely destroyed.
